Rock Springs offers many meeting spaces and housing areas with various room sizes to accommodate any group.

Indoor Meeting Areas

Johnson Administration Center Main lobby for group registration and information center. Open library for small group meetings. Meeting rooms with a small lounge area. Wireless Internet options

Merle L. Eyestone Conference Building Accommodates a maximum meeting group of 25. Furnishings include boardroom style tables with upholstered chairs, white boards, flip charts, display mounting strips and a TV with VCR/DVD unit. Meals can be served at a small additional charge.

Leadership Lodge Conference Building Accommodates a maximum capacity of 82. Includes 14 suites. Twelve suites have one double bed, a set of bunk beds and two single beds in a loft. Single beds replace the bunk set in two handicap-accessible suites. Private baths in each suite. Great Room with comfortable furnishings and a fireplace. Snack area with vending machines and complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

Flint Hills Education Building Features a nature-study classroom, educational exhibits and numerous meeting rooms. Great Plains Auditorium accommodates a maximum capacity of 125 with comfortable armed chairs and a projection room and screens. The Sunflower, Cottonwood and Meadowlark rooms allow for a capacity of 25 each, with desks featuring moveable tablet arms. The Prairie Room sets up with six round tables for a capacity 45 or subdivided into two rooms of 25.

Heritage Hall Offers films on citizenship topics ranging from ten minutes to one hour. Exhibit galleries providing thousands of square feet of exhibit space. Welcome Desk can be used for registration and control center for conferences. Spencer Auditorium accommodates a capacity of 400 in theater seats, with a stage, lighting and sound system and projection room. Lobby displays an art gallery exhibiting the works of Kansas artists. On the lower level, the Haflich and Vinson Seminar Rooms seat 30 each. The central conference area opens the room for 400. Acoustical doors divide the room into two sections of 150 or four rooms of 60.

Williams Dining Hall Serves as the main dining room accommodating a capacity of 500. Offers a piano and sound system in the main dining room. Lobby area features lounge furniture and a fireplace. Staff dining room accommodates a capacity of 30. The lower level accommodates a capacity of 250 for an indoor activity area, additional meeting space or overflow dining area.

Meditation Chapel Accommodates a maximum capacity of 75 in pews. Provides electric piano and sound system.

Parallel Country Church Accommodates a maximum capacity of 100. Offers a piano. Electricity and heat are not available in the historic building.

Green Valley Country School Accommodates a maximum capacity of 12. Electricity and heat are not available in the historic building.

Outdoor Meeting Areas

The Craft Center Accommodates a maximum capacity of 150 with lighting, concrete floors, a solid roof and picnic tables.

Outdoor Shelter Houses Accommodates a maximum capacity of 40 with concrete floors, solid roofs and lighting.

Clutter Memorial Shelter has restrooms.

Collegiate Shelter has a fireplace.

Master Farmer-Homemaker Shelter has restrooms and a fireplace.

Vesper Lookout Accommodates a capacity of 300. Hilltop worship area used for sunrise and sunset services.

Council Circle Accommodates a maximum capacity of 300 with stone step seating and a central campfire for roasting marshmallows, programs and ceremonies.

Amphitheater Accommodates a capacity of 1,000 on a grassy hillside below the Dining Hall. Portable sound system available.

Picnic Area Accommodates a maximum capacity of 450 available April to October.

Wa Shun Ga Meeting Areas

Wiedemann Dining Hall Accommodates a maximum capacity of 150 for small banquets, meeting space and group registration. Pay telephone and fireplace in the lobby.

Council Circle Accommodates a capacity of 100. Campfire used for evening programs and bonfires.

Open Air Chapel Accommodates a maximum capacity of 80 beside the springs, facing a bluff.

Picnic Area Accommodates a maximum capacity of 100 available April to October.

Assembly Hall An outdoor shelter area with a capacity of 150. It has a concrete floor, solid roof and screened sides.

More than 400 guests can participate in both large assemblies and small groups in Heritage Hall, built into Rock Springs' natural rolling hills
